Dr. Colin Hardy was born and raised in Wyoming. He participated in 4-H and FFA showing pigs as well as horses. He attended the University of Wyoming where he played rugby from 1997-2002. During this span they were the most successful team in UW history qualifying for the National Sweet 16 in 1999, 2001, the Final Four in 2002 and competed for the Division 1 National Championship in 2000. Dr. Hardy earned his Bachelors of Science in Physical and Health Education at UW. He and Kara Winkelmann were married in 2002 in Sheridan WY. He then attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic on a rugby scholarship. The Palmer rugby team was also successful in earning two births into the National Sweet 16.
